Role Summary
We are seeking a Power BI Tech Lead to drive the technical execution of our BI strategy. This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring a blend of advanced data engineering, complex analytical modeling, and high-end visualization. You will bridge the gap between AWS data sources and Power BI Fabric, leveraging Copilot AI to accelerate insights.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Analytics: Architect robust semantic models and write complex DAX (YTD, Variance %, Time Intelligence) and Power Query (M).
End-to-End Pipelines: Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and dimensional models (Star/Snowflake) to support healthcare analytics.
Infrastructure & Admin: Ownership of Power BI Gateway setup and seamless integration with AWS databases.
Modern BI Stack: Implement Power BI Fabric environments and utilize Copilot AI or other AI tools to optimize development workflows.
UI/UX Design: Deliver “boardroom-ready,” aesthetically superior dashboards that simplify complex healthcare data.
Mandatory Requirements
Technical Mastery: 810 years of experience with expert-level SQL, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Service.
AI Integration: Prior experience using Copilot AI within Power BI and proficiency in at least one other AI productivity tool.
Fabric & Pipelines: Proven track record building data pipelines and working within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
AWS Connectivity: Deep experience connecting Power BI to AWS-based data warehouses.
Data Foundations: Strong grounding in data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain Expertise: Direct experience in the Healthcare sector (understanding of clinical or operational data).
Leadership: Ability to lead technical architecture while remaining fully hands-on in the code.
